The specialist nature of these sessions and the small group sizes, along with facilities and training aids, will allow these workshops to be tailored to those involved, and give coaches the opportunity to go more in depth in the technical aspects of batting. These sessions will involve very little bowling or fielding, and be mainly batting against machines and side arms, alongside some drill work to develop new techniques learned along the way.
The sessions will be split into 2 groups for the appropriate level of information to be passed on:
U11,U12 and U13 group - players must be in these age groups by age, not just playing that level due to ability/opportunity. Players must have hard ball game experience with their club.
U14s and above - This group is for those in the age group U14s or higher by age and not just through ability/opportunity.

Bowling Workshops with Andy Woodward
We are very excited to have Andy onboard for the Spring Term to deliver these sessions. The sessions are designed to give Andy the opportunity to work with small groups of bowlers on the technical aspects of their bowling action, with initial assesments conducted so that the programme can be tailored to the individuals atending. Andy will aid the bowlers to increase pace, control and create more lateral movement.
The sessions will be split into 2 groups for the appropriate level of information to be passsed on:
U11,U12 and U13 group - players must be in these age groups by age, not just playing that level due to ability/opportunity. Players must also have a minimum of 2 years experience of playing regular hard ball games for their club. (Colts cricketers in our academy)
U14s and above - This group is for those playing regular adult cricket and are in the age group U14s or higher by age and not just through ability/opportunity. (Elites cricketers in our academy)
